Marcel Doré MD, hospital physician, Certified DDPY Fitness Instructor, Functional Aging Group Fitness Instructor (FAI) also has exercise training in chronic back pain and cancer. He continues to develop in areas that foster safe and effective movements and exercise. He is also now focussing on healthy movements and exercising for individuals who are living with arthritis, diabetes, obesity and other chronic health conditions - providing a "therapeutic" perspective in line with the concept that "Exercise is Medicine".
He is known for his gentle approach, helpful tips and advice, his positive and supportive attitude and his passion and commitment to helping individuals and class participants move better and feel better.
Since he started teaching DDPY Fitness classes in 2015, Marcel has seen the transformational power of movement and exercise with class participants as well as in his own life.
His overall goal as a fitness instructor and physician, is to combine medical knowledge with expertise in exercise and health coaching to help individuals become more active and enjoy a better quality of life.

Exercise and Chronic Disease
Dr. Doré provides individual exercise consultations to anyone who is living with chronic disease (chronic back pain, cancer, arthritis, obesity, diabetes, and many others) and unsure of where to start with an exercise program.
DDPY Fitness workouts combine yoga positions, sports rehab therapy, old-school calisthenics, and dynamic resistance. DDPY Fitness workouts strengthen muscles, ligaments, and tendons while stabilizing core muscles, increasing flexibility, agility, and balance. All this while delivering a great cardio workout with minimal joint impact.
